Party spokesman Akhilesh Pratap Singh told a press conference here that the second Congress demand is to let the inquiry be held under the supervision of a Supreme Court judge since it involves the long-time corruption in money and valuables donated by the devotees.

He said the government should also remove all those in the trust from running the temple as they can influence the probe. He narrated how those managing the temple’s funds were showing donations of only Rs 80,000 as against the actual donations of Rs 10 to 15 lakhs.

Singh said the present trust created by the Prime Minister has lost the trust of the people and so Modi should announce his decision at the earliest.
