NEW DELHI: Delhi and NCR areas felt strong earthquake tremors Saturday evening.
The actual earthquake of 6.2 magnitude in Richter Scale actually struck the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan Saturday evening, according to initial seismic reports. It was so strong that the tremors were felt across parts of Pakistan and northwest India, including Delhi.
The quake occurred at 7.04 pm IST at a depth of 191 km.There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
