New Delhi, 31 July—Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke today hurled a satire bomb at the country’s top executive head saying “Your skin is brighter than the country’s future,”
After returning to his hometown in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, took another swipe Modi, mocking his late-night Instagram video on the amended anti-paper leak law.
“Your skin is brighter than the country’s future,” Dipke wrote in the comments section of Modi’s post.
The remark came after PM Modi released a selfie-style video welcoming Parliament’s passage of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, describing it as a major step towards restoring credibility to India’s examination system.
Posted shortly before midnight on Thursday, the video has already garnered more than 63 million views. In it, the Prime Minister applauds the Bill and conveys the message that it would strengthen the fight against examination fraud through punishments, technology-driven reforms and faster investigations that the previous governments had failed to take a stance on.
“We are continuously taking one step after another to ensure a reliable examination system,” Modi said, adding that the government had constituted a task force, was setting up fast-track mechanisms and consulting states to strengthen the examination process.
“No paper mafia, no gang involved in paper leaks, and no one playing with the future of the country’s children will be spared,” he said.
Dipke, who recently returned home after spearheading the CJP protest for more than a month, posted his reply about an hour later: “Your skin is brighter than the country’s future.”
The amended law enhances prison terms, which could be anywhere between 5-10 years and a fine of up to Rs 50 lakhs for those involved in examination fraud, mandates time-bound investigations and requires states to establish fast-track courts for paper leak cases. The legislation was brought after fresh allegations of paper leaks this year, especially NEET-UG, which resulted in several students’ suicides and triggered widespread student protests.
Even before Parliament cleared the Bill, the CJP had argued that the amendments focused primarily on punishment after a paper leak rather than preventing leaks from occurring.
“You have been talking about everything after the paper leak, whether it is fast-track courts, harsher punishments or penalties. But you have not talked about what you are doing to stop paper leaks,” Ashutosh Ranka had said in a video message, urging the Centre to reform the National Testing Agency (NTA) and introduce greater transparency in the examination process.
Dipke’s latest swipe at PM Modi was not his first attack on Modi’s social media messaging. After returning home, he suggested that the Prime Minister should leave politics and become a full-time influencer, following a series of late-night selfie videos that attracted widespread attention.
“I think he would do very well as an influencer. He is doing an excellent job in that role. Perhaps he should step down as Prime Minister and become an influencer, while someone else handles the responsibilities of governing,” he had said.
