RAJASTHAN’S PHALODI SATTA MARKET SPECULATES RETURN OF NDA LED BY NITISH KUMAR

NEW DELHI: The satta market in Phalodi district town of jodhpur in Rajasthan is speculating return of the NDA led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with 128 to 134 seats in the 243-member Bihar Assembly.

It gives 66 to 68 seats to BJP and 54 to 56 seats to Janata Dal (United), though both parties are contesting on 101 seats. The combination has to win 122 seats to form the government.

The Phalodi satorias are giving 93 to 99 seats to the Mahagathbandhan, including 69 to 71 to RJD that is contesting on 143 seats.

Nitish Kumar tops the list in the satta market with his rate between 40 and 45 paise that gives better chances to him to become the CM again. Less rate of a candidate means the satorias are not speculating on his victory as they would rather lose their money on one fetching the lowest rate in the speculation. If one is betting on a candidate, it is risking money since the candidate fetching 45 paise as in the case of Nitish will give Rs 45 on every Rs 100 in the gamble.

Satta bazar is illegal, but the Phalodi bazar in Marwar region plays satta not only on elections, but also on cricket, weather, share market up and down and national as also international events. In the last Delhi Assembly elections, it had speculated victory of the BJP after 15 years of Aap government in power.
