
NEW DELHI ,6 March 2026 : The Bar Council of India (BCI) has notified the syllabus for All India Bar Exam XXI, fixing the examination on June 7.
The syllabus comprises 19 subjects and collectively 100 questions, 10 each in constitutional law, CrPC & Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Civil Procedure code while 8 questions are listed for IPC & Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Evidence Act & Baratiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, family law and contract, specific relief, proterty and negotiable instruments.
Registration for the exam closes on April 30 while online fee payment’s last date is May 1 and corrections in registration by My 3. The admit cards shall be relesed on May 22 and examination on June 7.
The BCI has also fixed 45% marks for general and OBC candidates and 40% for SC/ST and specially abled candidates.
