CONG PREPARES FOR ASSEMBLY POLLS

NEW DELHI, March 2026 : As of March 2026, the Indian National Congress (INC) is actively preparing for upcoming assembly elections, appointing special observers for Puducherry and district observers for West Bengal. Key leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, are focusing on organizational strengthening and addressing national issues, with recent activity in Kerala.

Organizational Changes: Smt. Errabelli Swarna has been appointed as the President of the Mahila Congress in Telangana.

International Relations: A delegation led by Salman Khurshid, chairman of AICC foreign affairs department, expressed condolences on the passing of Grand Ayatollah Imam Ali Khamenei to the Iranian Ambassador in New Delhi.
