NEW DELHI ,27 Feb 2026 : AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal broke down before the media on Friday after a Delhi court discharged him and 22 others in the CBI’s excise policy case, calling the verdict as a “triumph of truth.”
He described the excise case as an attempt to crush AAP, alleging that the investigation was a part of the biggest conspiracy in independent india as the cse was “totally fabricated”.
Kejriwal directly targeted Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, saying the AAP’s leadership was jailed as part of the broader political conspiracy.
He said “the court has discharged all accused in this case. We always said that the truth will triumph. We have faith in the Indian legal system. Modi and Amit Shah together hatched the biggest political conspiracy to crush AAP, putting all its five top leaders in jail and even the sitting chief minister was dragged out of his house and put in jail. It was totally a fabricated case.”
