CONG CALLS FOR ADVANCING PARLIAMENT SESSION

NEW DELHI: The Congress on Thursday demanded an all-party meeting and an early winter session of Parliament slated from December 1-19 to discuss the bomb blast near Red Fort in Delhi and seizure of big haul of ammunition in Faridabad town, 15 km from the national capital.

Its spokesman Pawan Khera questioned delay of 50 hours in the government admitting it as a terror attack and allowing rumours by letting the Home Ministry commenting on it through sources instead of giving official version.

He told reporters that the Congress has always stood with the government in the event of the terror attacks, but it could not comment since the government did not hold it as the terror attack for 50 hours. He also pointed out that Home Minister Amit Shah should owe the responsibility as happened by the home minister in the event of the 26/11 attack on Mumbai during the Congress government.

Khera said the government allowing rumours through the source-based information was wrong as the government should rest its stand on record.
