DELHI AIR QUALITY HAZARDOUS

NEW DELHI,9 JAN 2026: The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi is 372, which means the air quality is Hazardous right now. The main pollutant today is PM10: 258.49, PM25: 332.51, NO2: 66.41, SO2: 15.88, O3: 10.62, CO: 68.

All cities and towns close to Delhi are in the hazardous category as Ghaziabad reported 393 AQI, Greater Noida 383, Gurgaon 320 amd Faridabad 355.

If the AQI is above 100, sensitive groups like children or people with breathing issues should be careful and limit outdoor time. The AQI is regularly updated using real-time data from local monitoring stations, so you can always check the latest status for Delhi. If the AQI is “Poor” or higher, it’s best to reduce outdoor activities and use a mask if stepping out.

Lucknow is among the most polluted cities with the air quality as severe at AQI 266. Jaipur has the AQI of 184 that puts it as an unhealthy city and so are Chandigarh (199), Dehradun (190), Asansol (151) and  bahadurgarh (187)

Ballabgarh comes in the severe category, with AQI of 238. Agra has severe air quality with the AQI registered at 250.
