NEW DELHI: Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesman and party MP Dr Sambit Patra on Saturday called for “completely reject and sideline Rahul Gandhi and the Congress.”
He told a Press conference here that since 2014, the Congress, especially Rahul Gandhi and his team, has been continuously attempting to insult Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India’s institutions by crafting narratives with foreign support and from the foreign soil.
Patra said the INDIA alliance led by the Congress has now understood that this is not a “Midas touch” but a “Udaas touch”. In a Midas touch, whatever is touched turns into gold, while in an “Udaas touch”, whatever is touched ends up losing, he affirmed.
He said: “Rahul Gandhi is not suitable for India’s politics; he is only suited to hatch conspiracies against India from foreign soil. The country needs to remain cautious of Rahul Gandhi and the Congress Party.”
He claimed that senior Congress leaders like Pawan Khera, several Congress social media accounts, and many Congress-backed influencer accounts are operated from places like Pakistan, Bangladesh, the USA, Europe, Singapore, and West Asia, which raises many questions.
In Congress, the division of work is such that people sitting in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Southeast Asia, West Asia, Europe and America who are not even voters of India and have nothing to do with the country are the ones setting the narrative in India, Patra said.
He said Rahul Gandhi not only goes abroad and speaks against India, he also does not just meet Gen-Z to try to create an atmosphere against the country rather, with a complete plan and design, he is getting the work of spreading chaos in the country done by assigning it to his people abroad.
The BJP spokesman said these campaigns were run from abroad by the campaign toolkit gang to defame our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the RSS, and to malign India through narratives of vote chori and “operations.” Through this, a narrative was pushed to defame India, he said.
It was feared that after the SIR in Bihar, names would be deleted on a large scale, but not a single voter came forward with a complaint that his or her name was wrongly removed. Political parties raised all kinds of suspicions, but no one filed a complaint. Even the Supreme Court has acknowledged this, Patra underlined.
He said the account of Pawan Khera showed it “based in United States.” He claimed the Maharashtra Congress @INCMaharashtra has shown its account based in Ireland but when this theft was caught, it was changed to India. The third example is of Himachal Congress, @INCHimachal, which shows “Account based in India,” but displays “Connected via Thailand Android App.”
The BJP national spokesman gave similar accounts based in Malaysia, United states, Bangladesh, Europe and Pakistan. Many had hidden their location in Pakistan by displaying it “South East Asia region.”
Patra said the division of work inside Congress is such that the people sitting in Bangladesh, Pakistan, other parts of Southeast Asia, West Asia, Europe and America who are influencers, who are not voters of India and who have no connection with India are the ones who will set the narrative in India.
He alleged the misleading tweets on the Vote chori. He said the first example is of Arpit Sharma. His account is based in Europe. The second example is that of the Singapore-based Dr Kalika showing how the chief election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is being dragged away.
Dr. Sambit Patra remarked that at the same time when the institutions of India are being given international leadership, people sitting abroad, on the instructions of Rahul Gandhi and the Congress Party, are plotting this kind of conspiracy. An account named Diya Sharma is operated from Pakistan. This account posts videos like “Vote Chori Explained in 2 Minutes,” and in those two minutes statements are made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, the Election Commission of India, and the Indians. He said the kind of obscene remarks about the Election Commission and the Prime Minister are on the Pakistan-based account named Deeksha Sharma.
He also pointed out that during Operation Sindoor, an attempt from people sitting abroad was made to show that sindoor was being sent to every household by BJP Karyakartas under a so-called scheme named “Modi ka Sindoor,” suggesting the sindoor being applied by every woman on her forehead was sent by BJP. This entire fake narrative was driven from West Asia, Pakistan, and Singapore.
