NEW DELHI,12 March 2026 : Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday accused Speaker Om Birla on how the opposition leaders are interrupted every time they get up to speak in the Lok Sabha.
He said he had raised fundamental questions about the compromises that have been made by our Prime Minister. He pleaded not to stop him from speaking as he had not yet finished.
Speaking to reporters in the Parliament House premises, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wondered how much the people will tolerate the policies of the government as prices of everything are going up and unemployment has also increased.
She said the latest is the LPG situation. Better would have been if there were a good debate on these issues in the House as “at least we could have raised the questions concerning the common people.”
