NEW DELHI: The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has officially inducted three new members into its governing body to strengthen administrative oversight. The newly appointed trustees include New Delhi-based Mahesh Bhagchandka, local Ayodhya resident Madan Mohan Pandey, and Nirmala Yadav from Shikohabad.
The expansion marks a significant update to the board responsible for managing the temple’s operations, ongoing management, and development projects in Ayodhya.
The newly inducted members bring a diverse mix of regional representation and administrative background to the sacred trust.
Meanwhile, Bajrang Lal Bagra has been appointed as the new General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, replacing Champat Rai after the Trust accepted his resignation. The decision was taken during a meeting of the Trust in Ayodhya, marking a significant leadership change in the body that oversees the management and development of the Ram Mandir.
Bagra is a senior leader of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and has been associated with the Ram Janmabhoomi movement for several decades. He has worked closely with the temple campaign and is regarded as an experienced organisational leader. His appointment comes at an important time, as the Trust continues to supervise the remaining phases of the Ram Mandir project and manage the growing number of pilgrims visiting Ayodhya.
