NEW DELHI: After the Delhi Gymkhana Club and Jaipur Polo Ground, the 107-year-old Central Secretariat Club is now at the centre of an eviction row.
The Centre withdrew its recognition, citing administrative and financial irregularities, following which the premises were taken over and locked.
The club has challenged the move in the Delhi High Court, calling the eviction illegal and seeking to have both the derecognition and eviction orders quashed.
