
NEW DELHI: Amid signs of an impending reshuffle in the Modi govt, the BJP on Thursday dropped all its sitting MPs, including two union ministers Ravneet Singh Bittu and George Kurian, while nominating 11 fresh faces for the upcoming RS polls in six states.
The last date of nominations for the June 18 elections is June 6.

From Rajasthan, the party has nominated Haryana leader Satish Poonia, to counter Congress Rajasthan leader Govind Dotasara. To counter Sachin Pilot, the nominated Alka Gurjar, who is one of the two women in the list.
In Manipur, the BJP has named state president A Sharda Devi. and from Odisha, it has named Debashish Samantaray, who had just recently left the Biju Janata Dal as a sitting Rajya Sabha member.
