1.Opposition MPs Protest in Parliament, Demand Accountability Over Jantar Mantar Student Protest Incident

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with Rahul Gandhi and several Opposition MPs from the INDIA bloc, staged a protest at Makar Dwar in the Parliament complex on Monday, demanding accountability over the July 20 Jantar Mantar incident involving student protesters.
The Opposition alleged that police used excessive force against students during the CJP-led protest and accused the government of suppressing democratic voices. Congress leaders demanded an apology from Union Home Minister Amit Shah and sought a discussion on the issue in both Houses of Parliament.  They called for a fair inquiry into the alleged crackdown and urged the government to uphold citizens’ democratic right to peaceful protest.
