NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke addressed student protesters following the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Reading out the names of students who lost their lives due to paper leaks, Dipke observed two minutes of silence and called the resignation a victory achieved through persistent resistance.
He stated, “We have bloody done it,” and emphasised that governments yield when people stand firm. However, the CJP founder stressed that the protest would continue until two additional demands are fulfilled.
First, he demanded Rs 1 crore compensation for the families of each student who committed suicide due to paper leaks. Second, he called for strict administrative action against police officers, including DCP Sandeep Lamba, ACP Ajay Sharma, and Sachin Sharma, for ordering a lathi-charge against peaceful student protesters.
Dipke urged supporters to remain united and maintain pressure on authorities until justice is fully served.
